Hey kids,
So Hammer of Thor [Heroclix] just came out. It looks to me like, visually at least, there are a good number of figures that would have a happy home in Horrorclix. There are plenty, though, that are just hugely powerful. I think it'll take some self-control, but we shoudl be able to pull some good, not-too-powerful guys out, convert them in some happy way, and have ourselves a few new guys to play with [or not play with] as we see fit.
Here's my list of proposed convertible guys so far. I have none of these guys in hand, and this is based entirely on thematic appropriateness filtered through a common-sense-fueled power cap.

Surtur and/or Ragnarok Surtur [We need a 235 point monster]
Penance [Keep the name, change the backstory]
Venus [Love Guardian? Schmaltzy!]
Any missing from what you've seen? Time and inclination permitting, I'll be converting whichever of the above I manage to get.

I think your list looks good the rest will be good modding stock (ie M-11 into Gord from The Day the Earth Stood Still (original), Female Loki into Wiccan Goddess of the Woods, Old Lace in a Rapor). Also I can not wait from Gorilla-Man to be convered its time to make Horrorclix Howling Commandos

I just saw a picture of all the Hammer Of Thor clixs Venus, Penance and Valkyrie may be good additions. Venus Goddess of Love fighting against the monster of dark and Penance (even though I HATE Speedball) the clix look really cool and has a good backstory and with powers like 612 souls and Pain is My Power. And Valkyrie is a good Norse verse of BLG Valkyrie

I can feel good adding those guys, although I don't like converting Super-Rares where I can avoid it. Just 'cause they're hard to get, so sort of pointless. But I've done it in the past, so why the hell not.

All I gotta say right now is that everyone shoudl try and get a Fenris Wolf. It is a seriously awesome and badass figure.

Care to elaborate on how these should be converted? For example what are their HrC keywords? And on a related note, how does Fenris Wolf's special power work? There are no HorrorClix monsters with the Asgardian keyword, unless you give it to some of these other figures.

Oh yeah, this! I forgot about this.
I can't say I sat down and really got to work on any of this, but for your specific question re: the Wolf, obviously in Horrorclix the powers would be re-written. Something targeting Legends, perhaps.

I'll be buying some of these today. Or tomorrow. Whenever my bank processes my damn deposit. I hope the powers don't have to be rewritten TOO drastically to avoid being OP. It's nice to have a smooth transition for those who play both. Although all the previous conversions seem to be quite the challenge to beat in HorrorClix.
