Ok, this is kind of strange but I thought I'd share it with you anyway. On 30th November at about 10:30 I opened the back door to call the cat in and just in my peripheral vision I spotted movement so looked up and saw five glowing red balls moving from east to west quite slowly. As I watched the two at the front switched to the back of the 'formation' and they carried on then suddenly shot off over the horizon at a such a high speed that literally they were gone in a blink of an eye. I told a few people about it feeling a bit silly but it turns out I wasn't alone in spotting them.
The local paper carried a story about them being seen and there is even some grainy mobile phone footage of them shooting off. It turns out they were also reported in Wales (not far from me) a short while later and earlier in the evening further south.
Where I live I'm quite far from any built up areas so I get little light pollution and have a clear view of the stars when it's not cloudy. I'm very used to seeing civilian ad military planes and helicopters overhead as well as the stars and have a mild interest in astronomy so I feel fairly safe in saying they weren't any of the many things commonly mistaken for UFOs. The really weird thing is, and I wouldn't make this bit up if I were trying to convince you or anything, they seemed to have an appendage hanging from underneath them like a writhing worm. It wasn't a jet of flame or smoke or anything like that, it was like a moving dangling thing that retracted before they shot off.
Weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life, I just thought I'd share it. Apparently they have been seen again in the last few days by some local people so I'm keeping my eye out!
That is wicked!! great story pumpkinhead. Do you have any links to the local papers or photos?
And uberman you won't see anything in the sky living in the big bad city sorry dude.
Maybe they will make their way across the pond to us.

there is something out there, visiting/watching. in our area we have one location, Pine Bush new york where there are sightings quite often, also blue mountain, where there was a reported group abduction several years back.

Did you experience any memory loss? How does your bum feel?
Joking of course,
I too would be interested in any news articles you may be able to link to. I love this sort of thing.
lol No I think I went unprobed..as far as I know. And me vanising for months then returning is nothing to be concerned about, fellow hu-mans...
It seems like Wales near where I am is getting loads of odd activity even the BBC have noticed. Our local rag (newspaper) is running about one story a week about the same lights I saw so something's out there.
What is going on in that area?! That link is cool, thanks.
