Pale like maggots and 300 years old, Wormboy is the self-proclaimed guardian of the Stellar Moth and long time enemy to professor Hellstrom. Wormboy stayed for centuries in India and Mexico but his current lair is beneath London. With the help of the Moth, Wormboy will punish humanity... the beast from the dungeons will become king of the world.

Wormboy is a lackey.

Why must all victims be alive? Can't monsters just slay anyone to become blooded? And what are all Jocks and Pizza Guys doing at the grave yard?
Unliving are dead but not that dead. Or they are sort of almost alive. They're dead enough to end up in a grave but they are alive enough not to attack people.

Unliving are not that human anymore and it's hard to tell if they were male or female (and they don't care anymore for looks) so they have no gender symbol printed. Unliving counts as neither male or female (as a counter victim to Newlyweds and Half Man-Half Woman). For game purpose Unliving can still be rescued (Guardians "rescue" them by slaying them) or become minions (a little tricky but yes).

The Hellstrom Manuscript contains professor Helmstrom's investigation of the Stellar Moth. Wormboy encountered Hellstrom in Stockholm 1836 and stole the manuscript.

Gustav Hellstrom is dead but quest for the Stellar Moth goes on. With the help of the Hellstrom Manuscript the Wormboy is next in line to serve the mysterious space deity. His secret lair in the sewers of London is transforming into a temple ready to host the rituals. But now, in 1851, the vampires of London have found Wormboy's lair and declared war against him and his allies. The Vampires found the Hellstrom Manuscript and now they know about the Stellar Moth. Now they just need to find that worm thing...

Objective: The Vampires must leave the sewers with the Hellstrom Manuscript.
Army Size: Two player game; 200-point armies; two actions per turn.
Vampires: The army can only include 19th century style monsters of the Vampire class. Two Plot Twists must be included: 009 Blood Doll, 010 Hellstrom Manuscript. Suggested monsters: HrC-040 Vampire Enforcer R, HrC-041 Vampire Enforcer E, HrC-042 Vampire Enforcer V, HrC-079 Nosferatu R, HrC-080 Nosferatu E, HrC-081 Nosferatu V, HrC-088 Rasputin (Side B, Vampire), HrC-096 Stoker, Lab-300 Vlad the Impaler (Side B, Vampire), FS-058 Victorian Vampire R, FS-059 Victorian Vampire E, FS-060 Gerard.
Wormboy: The army must include lackey 003 Wormboy with 19th century styled monsters and at least one NM-020 Centipede. Two Plot Twists must be included: 006 Dead Silent, 021 Subplot: Shadowbreed.
Time Limit: 60 minutes.
Map: Pyramid: Upper Level (ignore terrain rolls).
Setup: Use these victims: 5x023 Hunter, 5x024 Detective, 2x025 Unliving. They represent people lost in the sewers.

Note: Only two Plot Twists are used for each army. I will play the Wormboy army.

Nope. It's hard to find new comics in my home town. I can get TPBs from Marvel, DC and Dark Horse but that's it.
And if I want something else then I'll have to order from somewhere so that don't happen too often.
Is Goon worth reading?

Ok. They don't have Goon here anyway. They don't even have Star Wars. Rolling Eyes

We've played the Escape from the worm's lair scenario (200 p) now.

London Vampires
Nosferatu E
Vampire Enforcer R
Vampire Enforcer E
Victorian Vampire R
Victorian Vampire E

Wormboy Pack
Wormboy
Centipede
Centipede
Sewer Crawler
Sewer Crawler
Dire Wolf R

Not the ordinary blokes. Vampires in the sewers! Plenty of Goblins but they're no match.

The Centipedes defended Wormboy but the vampires were too tough.

It was fun but tough. The Goblins come into play easily but I have to learn to use them better. Next time I'll try to hunt victims first to "destroy" victory points.
