Post A Question of Scale Reply with quote
I'm in the process of making a scale model of a "haunted cemetary" in my area and I would like to know what the distance each square in a HrC map represents in feet. I know the models are roughly in 28mm scale, but the map scale looks a bit fudged. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

I think the squares are 1.5 inch for almost all Wizkids games.

Thankx for the reply Freed, but I'm looking more for like is each square 6feet across or 9 feet or whatever. The diorama of the cemetary I'm planning will fit on a decent size table; the real thing is not that big. Thankx again

I wish I could help you more. If you go to someplace like Fatdragongames.com, where I get my constructable 3d models, they have a very active forum. The lead designer/owner answers almost every question personally and could be a great resource to getting your question answered. If not answered he could point you in the right direction.

I'd go with... 6 feet square. Maybe a bit less, but certainly no more.

Keep in minds it's sort of a Cartoon scale, too, if such a thing exists. Meaning stuff is gonna be sorta over-large anyways in order to look right with the figures. But still.
