The figs are indeed super, Tendril Queen & Angelique are just some of the good stuff. Heck the LE cards themselves are useful - Tire Iron by itself can kill a monster if you have good rolls.

Since the last time we played, I've only played casual games at home and one tourney. I'm sure you'll be able to trample my team if I can make it tomorrow. But I'll try to make it difficult for you. Hehehe
The first tournamen in DETZ's LE Series was a success. Eight ( players played and everyone went home with three (3) LE cards - Tire Iron, Severed Limb, and Rock Salt Shotgun. Zombie Hulk ate everyone up by leaving no survivors in three (3) rounds. Conrad won the inagural series and picked....shuck! na limot ko! Fellowship was some guy named Joel and I gave him the Widow Octavia.
Judge Conrad will post the nitty details on the tournament hopefully later **hint** **hint** later ha! Everyone had fun and a side note, Detz's nephew - Nico kicked my butt in his first Horrorclix game! Pucha! nasa dugo yata yung galing eh!
Thanks Detz! I'll teach your Nico some tricks to make him an A-List Horrorclix player!

Thanks Thony, just got lucky last night to get Angelique from the prize bin. Anyways, the 1st Grand Tourney via our benefactor Sir Hapidetz had been a huge success thru the 8 player turn out and the caliber of the guys who played. Players will bring with them an army with a maximum point total of Three Hundred and Five (305) points. Only BASE SET figures are allowed. Further, Players are not allowed to use figs with the same point cost in their army, that means you can have all three (3) versions of the vampire hunter figure in your build, but you cannot have multiple versions or other figures with a point cost of Sixty-Five (65), Seventy (70) and Seventy-Five (75) points. You are also required to include a unique or LE as part of your army.
Victory will be decided by points - victims slain / opposing monsters killed.
As per the original tourney, the champion gets first pick of a unique / le of his choice from a bag. Fellowship winner gets to pick a unique / le blind from the bag. Everyone goes home with a free LE card (Tire Iron, Rock Salt Shotgun and etc. ) and/or LE victim.
Since this is a series of tournaments, previous champions and fellowship winners in the current series of tournaments are disqualified from winning fellowship in the succeeding tournaments (Para naman to spread the prizes).

Please note that according to the latest WK Rulings - Subplots lose their effect when a player lose all his monsters. That means Bitter Hatred is disregarded if you got wiped out Zombie Hulk Kaya best thing to do is to run or keep a high defense monster waaaaaay back from the action if you want to generate points from your subplots.

uy, malaking bagay yung latest ruling na yan a. that would take away the chances of someone winning by sheer number of victims even if he was wiped out. good ruling ito, and quite a game breaker.

I was going to, kaya lang galing ako ng shift nun and I have to go home to the province later that day. May dala na nga akong team that day eh. I'would've been too sleepy to make any decent moves during the toruney. What time is the next one, the one after HeroClix Nationals? Assuming I get elminated right away (wag naman sana), I can still play a Horrorclix tourney if it starts soon.

Oops. Just read your post again. It's going to coincide with the Nationals pala. So it'll either be during, or before our elimination rounds in the FFF tourney.

Its not going to be on the same day as your Nationals or any other MAJOR Heroclix tourney. If it follows the usual pattern, Horrorclix will be played right after the Heroclix tourney finishes, by that time, people are already mentally tired to play another two (2) to three (3) rounds of clix game.
Don't worry about missing out of the tournament last week. We still have another copy of Angelique up for grabs, plus plenty more Unique/LE figs. We also have some more LE Plot Twists to give out.
Its my son's first birthday on 09 June 2007, so definitely I'll be spending time with my kid instead of playing Horrorclix. I don't mind playing week nights at the Galeria. If anyone has a good suggestion on a possible night of the week where we can play at the Galeria, please do share.

No other fig comes close to dominating the map as much as he does. Bahala na si Cons if he wants to keep using Zombie Hulk sa games natin, pero malamang a great player like Cons is feeling sawa narin at using an automatic ubber army and might decide to come up with something different para naman ma challenge siya.
